I can’t sleep, so I thought I’d blog. I am in Boston in the W hotel and am currently raiding the mini bar. It is snowing pretty hard outside. I came here for my boyfriend’s work holiday party.

I think that one of the reasons that I had such a good show was that I have a new amp that my brother gave me his old Fender Princeton Chorus amp. It’s loud as hell. It was definatly the first time that I felt I could really hear my guitar and because of that I played better. I only really started playing an electric guitar a few years ago.

I hate to admit it, but before I went on Bob introduced me and said that if they had not heard me play before, that they were in for a treat. He said really flattering things and it made me more confident. I hate to think that I would need my ego stroked.

It was also a total trip to find my picture and a few words about me when I opened the Fairfield Weekly. It was another assurance that I hopefully am doing something right.

I guess I’ll go to sleep now. Tomorrow I am putting up a lot more stuff on my site.
